President of Diyanet Görmez stressed the following points in his prayers:

“Dear Almighty, we are sending blessings to the souls of these great people who presented Islam to these lands and then sent other Muslim saints to Anatolia and Rumelia. We send blessings to the companions of the beloved Prophet who sent them to the areas between the rivers of Seyhun (Syr Darya) and Ceyhun (Amu Darya), who lost their lives here and who followed them. Dear Allah inform their souls of our prayers.

Dear Almighty our ancestors built the Maveraünnehir Civilization with the message of compassion of Islam. Let their children further enhance this civilization dear Almighty. Greet hadith (teachings of the Prophet) scholars have been raised on these lands like Buharî, Müslim, Ebû Davud, Darimî and Tirmizî. Dear Almighty do not allow their generations today to leave the path of the teachings, actions and morals of the Prophet. Great scientists like İbn-I Sina and Uluğbey were raised on philosophy and astronomy on these soils. Dear Almighty do not allow their children veer off from the path of swcience, wisdom and virtue. Great philosopher Farabi wrote the book “Erdemliler Şehri” (The City of the Peoıple With Virtue) and showed us how cities can be established on wisdom and virtue. Dear Almighty help us Muslims to enhance and advance all our cities on morals and virtues. May the Muslim generations living on these lands never be prevented from the greatness of being your subjects and the followers of Muhammad Mustafa.
